To prevent cross contamination across different areas it is important to have colour coded equipment which is restricted to areas.
There is no national standard code.

We use Yellow for kitchen (cooked areas)
Green for areas where there is risk of contamination.
Red for toilets and washrooms
Blue for all public/ general areas.
It is a good idea when planning cleaning stations to have separate store areas for different areas (coloured) equipment.
Wall organisers grips are very useful to keep equipment in the right place and tools of the floor. These are also available colour-coded to match equipment.
